  • 250 grams all-purpose flour
  • 3 apples
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 120 grams butter
  • 1 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 60 milliliters milk
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 200 grams sugar
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
Step 2
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, 200 grams of sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, beat the butter until creamy. Add the egg, milk, and vanilla extract, and beat until well combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.

Arrange the apple slices on top of the batter in a circular pattern.

In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and 50 grams of sugar. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the apples.
