Turn on the Instant Pot to the sauté setting and add the olive oil.

Once the oil is hot, add the cubed pork shoulder and brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.

Add the chopped onion and garlic to the Instant Pot, and sauté until translucent.

Stir in the tomato paste, cooking for another minute.

Add the browned pork, sliced carrots, diced potatoes, beef broth, thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
