Ingredients

  • 480 ml beef broth
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 3 carrots
  • 150 g frozen peas
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 900 g pork shoulder
  • 4 potatoes
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

Directions

Step 1
Turn on the Instant Pot to the sauté setting and add the olive oil.
Step 2
Once the oil is hot, add the cubed pork shoulder and brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
Step 3
Add the chopped onion and garlic to the Instant Pot, and sauté until translucent.
Step 4
Stir in the tomato paste, cooking for another minute.
Step 5
Add the browned pork, sliced carrots, diced potatoes, beef broth, thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
Step 6
Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to the pressure cook setting on high for 35 minutes.
Step 7
Once the cooking time is finished, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then release any remaining pressure manually.
Step 8
Stir in the frozen peas and let them heat through for a few minutes before serving.
