  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 cup cilantro
  • 1 cucumber
  • 450 grams fresh crab meat
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 60 ml lemon juice
  • 120 ml lime juice
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tomato

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, lime juice, and lemon juice. Mix well to ensure the crab meat is evenly coated.
Step 2
Add the chopped red onion, jalapeno, tomatoes, cucumber, and cilantro to the bowl. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
Step 3
Season with salt and black pepper, adjusting to taste.
Step 4
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Step 5
Gently fold in the diced avocado just before serving.
Step 6
Serve the crab ceviche chilled, with tortilla chips or on its own as a refreshing appetizer.
