In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce until well combined.

Place about 1 teaspoon of the crab mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.

Moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper with water and fold to form a triangle, pressing the edges to seal.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 175°C.

Fry the wontons in batches for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
