  • 300 g all-purpose flour
  • 150 g brown sugar
  • 60 g butter
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 120 ml heavy cream
  • 240 ml milk
  • 100 g pecans
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 50 g sugar
  • 7 g yeast

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
Step 2
Add flour, salt, egg, and melted butter to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
Step 3
Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Step 4
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.

Roll the dough into a 12x18 inch rectangle. Spread softened butter on top.

Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly over the buttered dough. Add chopped pecans.

Roll the dough tightly from the long side and cut into 12 even pieces.

Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30-45 minutes.

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).

Pour heavy cream over the rolls and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Let the sticky buns cool for a few minutes before serving.
