  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 500 grams scallops

Directions

Step 1
Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
Step 2
Season the scallops with salt and black pepper.
Step 3
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the scallops to the skillet in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd them. Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through.

Remove the scallops from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the butter, garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Cook for about 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant.

Return the scallops to the skillet and toss to coat them in the sauce.
