  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 12 chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 cup hot red pepper sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup water

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oil in a deep fryer to 365 degrees F (185 degrees C).
Step 2
In a medium bowl, beat the eggs with the water and hot red pepper sauce.

In another bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, baking powder, and cornstarch.
Step 4
Dip the chicken wings in the egg mixture, then in the flour mixture, back in the egg mixture, and again in the flour mixture.
