  • 225 grams cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 15 ml lemon juice
  • 2 sheets puff pastry
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 5 ml vanilla extract
  • 15 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until smooth.
Step 3
Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut each into 4 squares.
Step 4
Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each square.
Step 5
Fold the corners of each square toward the center and press gently to seal.
Step 6
In a small bowl, mix the beaten egg with water to create an egg wash.

Brush the tops of the pastries with the egg wash.

Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
