Ingredients

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 6 Cubanelle peppers
  • 30 g fresh parsley
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 50 g Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 400 g tomato sauce
  • 200 g white rice

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2
Cut the tops off the Cubanelle peppers and remove the seeds.
Step 3
In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until they are soft.
Step 4
Add the ground beef to the pan and cook until it's browned.
Step 5
Stir in the cooked rice, tomato sauce, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Step 6
Stuff the mixture into the hollowed peppers and place them in a baking dish.
Step 7
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top of the stuffed peppers.
Step 8
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Step 9
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the cheese is golden.
Step 10
