  • 12 slices bread
  • 1 cups brown sugar
  • 0.5 cups butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 0.5 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Arrange slices of bread in the bottom of the dish.
Step 2
In a bowl, beat together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Pour this mixture over the bread slices, making sure all are evenly coated.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and refrigerate overnight.

The next morning, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a saucepan, melt the butter and mix in the brown sugar until dissolved. Pour this mixture over the bread.
