  • 60 ml lemon juice
  • 2000 g plums
  • 1000 g sugar
  • 120 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Wash the plums thoroughly and remove the pits. Cut the plums into small pieces.
Step 2
In a large pot, combine the plums, sugar, lemon juice, and water. Stir well to mix the ingredients.
Step 3
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly to prevent sticking.
Step 4
Once it reaches a boil, reduce the heat to medium-low and let it simmer for about 45 minutes, or until the mixture thickens. Stir occasionally.
Step 5
After the jam has thickened, remove it from the heat and let it cool slightly.
Step 6
Pour the jam into sterilized jars, leaving a small gap at the top. Seal the jars tightly.
Step 7
Allow the jam to cool completely before storing it in a cool, dark place. Refrigerate after opening.
