Ingredients

  • 100 g bean sprouts
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 carrot
  • 200 g chow mein noodles
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 green onions
  • 30 ml oyster sauce
  • 15 ml sesame oil
  • 450 g shrimp
  • 60 ml soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 120 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Cook the chow mein noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and water. Set aside.
Step 3
Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 4
Add the shrimp to the pan and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside.
Step 5
Add the carrot, bell pepper, and green onions to the pan and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
Step 6
Add the cooked noodles and bean sprouts to the pan, then pour the sauce mixture over everything. Toss to combine all ingredients well.
Step 7
Return the shrimp to the pan and stir-fry for another 2 minutes until everything is heated through and well mixed.
Step 8
