  • 60 ml starter yogurt
  • 2000 ml whole milk

Directions

Step 1
Pour the whole milk into the Instant Pot.
Step 2
Press the 'Yogurt' button until it reads 'boil'. This will take about 30 minutes.
Step 3
When the boiling cycle is complete, let the milk cool to 43°C. You can speed up the cooling process by placing the inner pot in an ice bath.

Once the milk has cooled, whisk in the plain yogurt until well combined.
Step 5
Place the inner pot back into the Instant Pot. Press the 'Yogurt' button again and adjust the time to 8 hours for incubation.
Step 6
After the incubation period, transfer the yogurt to a strainer lined with cheesecloth. Let it drain for 2-4 hours, depending on how thick you want your Greek yogurt.
Step 7
Store the finished Greek yogurt in airtight containers in the refrigerator.
