Ingredients

  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 carrots
  • 900 grams chicken thighs
  • 30 ml cooking oil
  • 15 ml fish sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 150 grams green peas
  • 1 onion
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 400 grams tomato sauce
  • 500 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Heat the cooking oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Step 2
Sauté the garlic and onion until the onion is translucent.
Step 3
Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides.
Step 4
Pour in the tomato sauce and water. Stir well.
Step 5
Add the potatoes and carrots. Bring to a boil.
Step 6
Lower the heat and let it simmer for 30 minutes or until the chicken and vegetables are tender.
Step 7
Add the bell pepper, green peas, salt, pepper, and fish sauce. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 8
Serve hot with steamed rice.
