Ingredients

  • 240 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 240 ml buttermilk
  • 2 onions
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 500 ml vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1
Peel and thinly slice the onions.

Soak the sliced onions in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Dredge the soaked onions in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
