Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix well until smooth.

Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture, and mix until fully incorporated.

Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 5 cm (2 inches) apart.
