This easy caramel custard recipe is a delightful dessert made with simple ingredients. It's creamy, rich, and has a lovely caramel topping that makes it irresistible.

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a saucepan, melt 100 grams of sugar over medium heat until it turns into a caramel. Carefully pour the caramel into a baking dish, tilting to coat the bottom evenly.

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and the remaining 50 grams of sugar until well combined.

Heat the milk in a saucepan until warm, then slowly pour it into the egg mixture while whisking continuously. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.

Pour the custard mixture over the caramel in the baking dish.

Place the baking dish in a larger dish filled with hot water to create a water bath.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the custard is set and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
