Step 1
In a large bowl, mix together the ground pork, cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil until well combined.

Place a small spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of each dumpling wrapper.

Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold the wrapper in half, and press the edges together to seal the dumpling.

To steam the dumplings, place them in a steamer basket over boiling water and steam for about 10 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through.

To fry the dumplings, heat a tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the dumplings and cook until the bottoms are golden brown. Add 1/4 cup of water to the skillet, cover, and cook until the water has evaporated, about 5 minutes.
