  • 250 g all-purpose flour
  • 5 g black pepper
  • 470 ml buttermilk
  • 8 chicken pieces
  • 5 g garlic powder
  • 1000 ml oil
  • 5 g onion powder
  • 5 g paprika
  • 10 g salt

Directions

Step 1
Place the chicken pieces in a large bowl and pour the buttermilk over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Step 2
In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 175°C (350°F).

Remove the chicken from the buttermilk and dredge each piece in the flour mixture, making sure to coat well.
Step 5
Carefully place the chicken pieces in the hot oil, frying a few pieces at a time to avoid overcrowding. Fry for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
Step 6
Remove the chicken and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
