Ingredients

  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Step 1
Season the pork chops with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Step 2
Set the Instant Pot to 'Sauté' mode and add the olive oil. Once hot, sear the pork chops on both sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Step 3
Remove the pork chops from the pot and set aside.
Step 4
Add the chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce to the pot, scraping any browned bits off the bottom.
Step 5
Place the pork chops back into the pot. Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to 'Manual' mode for 10 minutes.
Step 6
Once the cooking time is complete, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
Step 7
Remove the pork chops from the pot and set aside.
Step 8
Mix the cornstarch and water together to create a slurry. Add the slurry to the pot and set to 'Sauté' mode. Cook, stirring frequently, until the sauce has thickened.
Step 9
Serve the pork chops with the sauce drizzled over the top.
