  • 125 g all-purpose flour
  • 8 g baking powder
  • 115 g butter
  • 900 g fresh cherries
  • 200 g granulated sugar
  • 240 ml milk
  • 2 g salt

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the fresh cherries and half of the granulated sugar. Set aside.

In another bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining granulated sugar.

Add the melted butter and milk to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Step 5
Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
Step 6
Spread the sugared cherries over the batter evenly.
Step 7
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the cobbler comes out clean.
