  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 400 g diced tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 200 g mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 50 g parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 450 g spaghetti
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 800 ml tomato sauce

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2
Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and cook until softened.

Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti and meat sauce. Mix well to ensure the spaghetti is evenly coated.

Transfer the spaghetti mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and grated parmesan cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
