A deliciously sweet and spicy jelly perfect for spreading on crackers, pairing with cheese, or as a glaze for meats. This versatile condiment adds a flavorful kick to any dish.
Directions
Step 1
In a large pot, combine the bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, sugar, apple cider vinegar, and salt.
Step 2
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly to dissolve the sugar.
Step 3
Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, continuing to stir occasionally.
Step 4
Add the liquid pectin and return the mixture to a boil. Boil hard for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Step 5
Remove the pot from the heat and skim off any foam that has formed on the surface.
Step 6
Ladle the hot jelly into sterilized jars, leaving about 1/4 inch of headspace at the top.
Step 7
Seal the jars with lids and process them in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
Step 8
Allow the jars to cool completely before storing them in a cool, dark place.
