  • 1 cabbage
  • 200 g cheddar cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • 200 g rice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 400 g tomato sauce

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2
In a large pan, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pan. Cook until the onion is translucent.

Stir in the tomato sauce, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 5 minutes.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped cabbage, cooked rice, and the beef mixture. Mix well.

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.

Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
