Ingredients

  • 250 g all-purpose flour
  • 225 g butter
  • 100 g extra powdered sugar
  • 120 g finely chopped nuts
  • 60 g powdered sugar
  • 1 g salt
  • 10 ml vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and 60 grams of powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the vanilla extract and mix well.
Step 3
Gradually add the flour and salt to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined. Stir in the finely chopped nuts.
Step 4
Roll the dough into small balls, about 2.5 cm (1 inch) in diameter, and place them on an ungreased baking sheet.
Step 5
Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until set but not browned. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.
Step 6
While still warm, roll the cookies in the extra powdered sugar until well coated. Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack.
Step 7
Once cooled, roll the cookies in powdered sugar again for a final coating before serving.
