  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 4 halibut fillets
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Pat the halibut fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the halibut fillets to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is golden brown and flakes easily with a fork.

In the last minute of cooking, add the minced garlic and butter to the skillet. Spoon the melted butter over the fish.
