  • 250 ml beef broth
  • 500 grams beef sirloin
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 300 grams egg noodles
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 200 grams mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 200 grams sour cream

Directions

Step 1
Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 2
Add the sliced beef sirloin and cook until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Step 3
In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
Step 4
Add the sliced mushrooms and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until tender.
Step 5
Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and stir to combine.

Slowly add the beef broth, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
Step 7
Reduce heat to low and stir in the sour cream and mustard. Season with salt and black pepper.

Return the cooked beef to the skillet and simmer for a few minutes until everything is heated through.

Serve the beef stroganoff over cooked egg noodles or rice.
