Step 1
Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

In a blender, combine the rice and 2 cups of water. Blend until the rice is roughly ground.

Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and add the remaining 2 cups of water. Let it sit at room temperature for at least 3 hours, or overnight for better flavor.

Strain the rice mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a pitcher, discarding the rice solids.

Stir in the milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
