Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 450 g cream cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g graham cracker crumbs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
Step 2
In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
Step 3
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Step 4
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
Step 5
Arrange the apple slices on top of the cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Step 6
Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set and the apples are tender.
Step 7
Allow the cheesecake to cool in the pan before removing the sides of the pan. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
