Rinse the glutinous rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

In a pot, bring the water to a boil.

Add the rinsed rice to the boiling water and reduce the heat to a simmer.

Cook the rice for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

Once the rice is cooked and has absorbed most of the water, add the cocoa powder and sugar.

Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until the mixture thickens.
