  • 150 g cabbage
  • 30 dumpling wrappers
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 3 green onions
  • 450 g ground pork
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 50 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, cabbage, green onions, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
Step 2
Place a small spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of each dumpling wrapper.
Step 3
Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it over to enclose the filling. Pinch the edges to seal.
Step 4
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add a small amount of oil.
Step 5
Place the dumplings in the skillet, flat-side down, and cook until the bottoms are golden brown, about 2 minutes.
Step 6
Add 50ml of water to the skillet and cover. Steam the dumplings until the water has evaporated, about 5 minutes.
Step 7
Remove the lid and continue to cook until the bottoms are crisp again, about 2 more minutes.
Step 8
Serve the dumplings hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
