  • 1 egg
  • 50 grams flour
  • 1 onion
  • 500 grams potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1
Peel and grate the potatoes and onion.
Step 2
Place the grated potatoes and onion in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much liquid as possible.
Step 3
In a large bowl, mix the grated potatoes and onion with the egg, flour, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Form the potato mixture into small patties and carefully place them in the hot oil.

Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
