  • 200 g cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 300 g frozen mixed vegetables
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 120 ml sour cream
  • 800 g tater tots

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
Step 2
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is soft, about 3-5 minutes.

Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and frozen mixed vegetables. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Season with salt and black pepper.

Transfer the beef mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.

Arrange the tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top. Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
