  • 120 ml buttermilk
  • cooking spray
  • 100 g cornmeal
  • 1 egg
  • 50 g flour
  • 500 g okra
  • 5 g salt

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (390°F).
Step 2
Wash and cut the okra into 1-cm pieces.
Step 3
In a bowl, whisk together the egg and buttermilk.
Step 4
In another bowl, mix the cornmeal, flour, salt, and black pepper.
Step 5
Dip the okra pieces into the egg mixture, then coat with the cornmeal mixture.
Step 6
Place the coated okra in a single layer in the air fryer basket and spray with cooking spray.
Step 7
Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the okra is golden and crispy.
