  • 4 cups chicken broth

  • 1 set giblets
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups water

Directions

Step 1
Rinse the giblets and place them in a pot with 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.

Remove the giblets from the pot and let them cool. Chop the giblets finely.

In another pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute until it forms a roux.

Slowly whisk in the chicken broth and bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
