Ingredients

  • 480 g all-purpose flour
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 60 g butter
  • 10 g cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 240 ml milk
  • 5 g salt
  • 100 g sugar
  • 60 ml water
  • 7 g yeast

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.

In a separate bowl, heat the milk and water until warm, then add the melted butter.
Step 3
Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, then add the egg and mix until a dough forms.
Step 4
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon and brown sugar.

Roll out the dough into a rectangle, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the dough.

Roll up the dough tightly, starting from the short end, then place it in a greased loaf pan.

Cover and let rise for an additional 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake the bread for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
