  • 60 g butter
  • 300 g cheddar cheese
  • 300 ml condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 900 g frozen hash browns
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 240 ml sour cream

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the frozen hash browns, chopped onion, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and condensed cream of chicken soup.

Add the melted butter, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Step 4
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Step 5
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbling and the top is golden brown.
