  • 225 g cream cheese
  • 60 ml milk
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • 1800 g potatoes
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 240 ml sour cream

Directions

Step 1
Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to a simmer and cook until tender, about 20 minutes.

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Mash the potatoes until smooth.

Add the butter, cream cheese, sour cream, milk, salt, and pepper to the potatoes. Stir until everything is well combined and the mixture is creamy.

Transfer the mashed potatoes to a large baking dish and cover with foil. Refrigerate for up to 2 days.
Step 5
When ready to serve, preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Bake the mashed potatoes, covered, for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until heated through and slightly golden on top.
