  • 250 grams all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 150 grams brown sugar
  • 170 grams butter
  • 150 grams granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 300 grams semisweet chocolate chips
  • 60 grams unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy and well combined.

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips.

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 5 cm (2 inches) apart.
