Ingredients

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 450 g bread cubes
  • 115 g butter
  • 4 stalks celery
  • 700 ml chicken broth
  • 1 piece onion
  • 2 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
Step 2
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Step 3
Add the chopped onion and celery; cook until softened, about 10 minutes.
Step 4
In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes, cooked vegetables, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Step 5
Pour the chicken broth over the mixture and toss until well combined.
Step 6
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
Step 7
Cover with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
Step 8
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
