  • 250 grams all-purpose flour
  • 10 grams baking powder
  • 230 grams butter
  • 240 ml buttermilk
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 grams salt
  • 300 grams sugar
  • 5 ml vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
Step 2
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Step 3
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Step 4
Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; add to the creamed mixture alternately with the buttermilk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
Step 5
Pour batter into the prepared bundt pan.
Step 6
Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Step 7
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.
