  • 100 grams crushed candy canes
  • 250 grams dark chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 250 grams white chocolate

Directions

Step 1
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave, stirring frequently until smooth.

Add 0.5 teaspoon of vegetable oil to the melted dark chocolate and mix well.

Pour the melted dark chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly. Refrigerate for 20 minutes to set.

Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler or microwave, stirring frequently until smooth.

Add 0.5 teaspoon of vegetable oil and 1 teaspoon of peppermint extract to the melted white chocolate and mix well.

Pour the melted white chocolate over the set dark chocolate and spread it evenly.

Sprinkle the crushed candy canes evenly over the top of the white chocolate layer.
Step 9
Refrigerate for another 20 minutes or until fully set.
Step 10
Break the peppermint bark into pieces and serve.
