  • 1.5 kg eye-of-round roast
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 260°C (500°F).

Season the eye-of-round roast with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder evenly.
Step 3
Place the seasoned roast on a rack in a roasting pan.
Step 4
Roast in the preheated oven for 7 minutes per 0.5 kg (1 lb) of meat.
Step 5
Turn off the oven and let the roast sit in the oven for 2 hours without opening the door.
Step 6
After 2 hours, remove the roast from the oven and allow it to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
