  • 240 g all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 240 ml milk
  • 500 ml oil
  • powdered sugar
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 30 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until smooth.

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it reaches 375°F (190°C).

Pour the batter into a funnel, covering the bottom of the spout with your finger.

Hold the funnel over the hot oil and release your finger, making a circular motion to create a spiral pattern.

Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
