Step 1
In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and curry powder.

Add butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Gradually add cold water and mix until a dough forms. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, and sauté until softened.

Add ground beef, thyme, and scotch bonnet pepper. Cook until the beef is browned.

Stir in breadcrumbs and beef broth. Simmer until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and let it cool.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into circles. Place a spoonful of beef filling on one half of each circle.

Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges with a fork. Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
