  • 1 loaf bread
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 113 g butter
  • 8 eggs
  • 100 g granulated sugar
  • 5 g ground cinnamon
  • 1 g ground nutmeg
  • 240 ml heavy cream
  • 120 ml maple syrup
  • 480 ml milk
  • 1 g salt
  • 15 ml vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2
Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Step 3
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt.

Add the bread cubes to the mixture, making sure they are well-coated.

Pour the bread mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Step 6
Drizzle melted butter over the top of the bread mixture.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
