  • 150 grams brown sugar
  • 115 grams butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large sweet potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 60 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into thick slices.

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the brown sugar, water, and salt to the melted butter. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is smooth.

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

Place the sweet potato slices in a baking dish.

Pour the butter and sugar mixture over the sweet potatoes, ensuring they are well coated.
