  • 95 g all-purpose flour
  • 170 g chocolate chips
  • 240 g creamy peanut butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g granulated sugar
  • 240 g powdered sugar
  • 2 g salt
  • 170 g semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 15 g shortening
  • 115 g unsalted butter
  • 30 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 5 ml vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and semi-sweet chocolate chips together in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth.
Step 3
Stir in the granulated sugar until fully combined. Then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the brownies cool completely.

In a medium bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and powdered sugar. Spread this mixture evenly over the cooled brownies.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and shortening together in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth. Pour over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
