Ingredients

  • 240 ml boiling water
  • 240 ml cold water
  • 3 eggs
  • 85 g strawberry gelatin mix
  • 60 ml vegetable oil
  • 240 ml water
  • 480 ml whipped topping
  • 1 box white cake mix

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
Step 2
Prepare and bake the cake mix according to package instructions, using the water, oil, and eggs.
Step 3
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes.
Step 4
Using a fork, poke holes all over the top of the cake.
Step 5
In a bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water, then stir in the cold water.
Step 6
Slowly pour the gelatin mixture over the cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
Step 7
Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours.
Step 8
Spread the whipped topping evenly over the top of the cake before serving.
