  • 150 grams all-purpose flour
  • 500 grams blackberries
  • 100 grams brown sugar
  • 100 grams butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 50 grams rolled oats
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a bowl, combine the blackberries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Mix gently and set aside.

In another bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, and rolled oats.

Add the chilled, cubed butter to the flour mixture. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to blend until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Place the blackberry mixture in a baking dish and spread it out evenly.

Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the blackberries.
